Meet other local Stay At Home Dads, part-time at home dads, work from home dads, freelance dads, or dads who just want to meet other dads in Lower Westchester. My goal is to set up small get-togethers in the area so we can have our little ones interact with each other. The biggest challenge for us Stay At Home Dads is isolation, so it's time to get out of the house!

Oddly, there is a very high per-capita rate of dads in / around Hamilton Park (in Jersey City, NJ), who are CTO's or tech-entrepreneurs. You might be surprised by some of the big name startups who's CEO/CTO is rubbing elbows with you during the morning drop-offs. Here's a chance for us all to get together either at Basic one morning a month, or at the Hamilton Inn one evening a month - to swap stories and get away from our kids for a couple of hours. You in?

It's not easy raising children. It can be even more challenging if you are a divorced Dad that had chosen to be an integral part of your kids' lives. MDD is a meet up group devoted to helping Dads be better parents. Peers share experience, connect each other to important services and share friendship.

We are looking for more stay at home dads (SAHD) in Fairfield County to hang out with and for occasional excursions. The species of male primary care givers is still relatively a rare one and that's why our children's ages are not relevant. At the moment the age group is from newborn till 3 years old. This group is for all gay dads in Montclair and surrounding towns raising kids. The goal is to get together on a regular basis so our kids can spend time around other kids who also have gay dads. We could plan simple play dates at our houses, parks, go to events etc. I am starting this group because I think it would be great for our kids to have more of a connectedness to other kids with gay dads.

This is a group for gay parents interested in play dates, dinners, and general community building. My husband and I recently moved to Fairfield with our 14 month old twins (born 10/2011) and would like to add some like minded families to our network. I figure we aren't alone in that.
