This is a group for moms (and dads) interested in getting out of their houses and talking to other grown-ups. I'm a new parent, but I'm also new to Michigan, and making new friends has been tough. I have to believe I'm not alone in my quest to meet interesting people. There are fun events going all the time in and around Detroit (I know because I get weekly emails from Yelp and Metro Parent). So let's pack up our diaper bags and get going!

Let's build a group of moms who want to socialize with the kids while dad is at work. Stay-at-home moms need some grown-up time too!  Working moms are also welcome.
